Rope Gauntlet - bondage tutorial

Proving the versatility of the Lou Duff Rope Corset, a Rope Gauntlet is simply rope corsetry tied upon the forearm. Still, as far as decorative ties go, Rope Gauntlets are perhaps the most elegant forearm ornamentation for men and women alike—when it comes to ornamentations made of rope, that is. The same technique can be used for wrapping the calves (though we don’t recommend it for roping cattle).
Rope length: 30 to 40 feet
Rope diameter: 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch
Begin by wrapping a bight around the wrist and pull both ropes through the bight.
Then, double back the loose ends of your rope upon themselves…
and around your partner’s wrist. Stop at the doubled loop you created.
Now tuck both loose rope ends of your rope under, up and through the doubled loop.
Again, double back the loose ends of your rope upon themselves…
and repeat the previous steps until you reach the top of your partner’s forearm.
To complete the piece, simply tuck the loose ends of your rope under, up and through the topmost two lines of rope on the forearm—leaving a small loop when you do.
Finally, tuck the loose ends of your rope over the topmost two strips of rope and through the small loop you created.
