The Master’s role in training is to provide the slave with support, direction, encouragement, insight, change, challenge and establishing or reinforce values. Throughout all of the areas shown below, a Master uses many techniques to stimulate cognitive, emotive, and behavioral change. Behavior, emotions, self-image and thoughts are always considered.
This list, of course, should not be considered all inclusive.
Direction & Support
Relationship
Providing the slave with a real feeling of your acceptance of who she is and what she wants to be.
Providing hope, reassurance, and encouragement.
Establishing a Dominant/submissive relationship.
Setting limits and guidelines.
Establishing a clear path of what is expected.
Defining goals.
Gathering Information
Gathering of relevant information about:
1) Present problem, life tasks, goals and lifestyle.
2) Past experiences and memories.
3) Detailing slave’s beliefs, goals and expectations.
Encouragement
Clarification
Clarifying vague and faulty thinking about what is expected.
Evaluating and explaining the consequences of ideas and actions.
Correcting any mistaken ideas that she has about herself or You.
Encouragement
Helping generate obedience and service.
Stimulating movement in the direction of submission.
Clarifying new feelings that are generated during training about effort and results.
Insight
Interpretation – Identification
Interpreting inferiority feelings & goal of superiority.
Identifying what is being avoided during training.
Knowing
Slave becomes fully aware of the new lifestyle without help.
Slave knows and accepts what needs to be changed.
In spite of insight, she may feel emotionally blocked or offer resistance to change.
Consequences of misbehavior.

Offering corrective or missing developmental experiences.

Inspiring the slave to love the struggle involved in becoming a slave and preferring the unfamiliar.
