Leather fetish and female domination

Ah! The stench of unwashed leather!
Although leather is probably the original fetish material, and millions of people wear it in the fetish context and out of it, I must confess that unless it is leather shoes, gloves, purse, or coal/jacket, I no longer have an interest in it at all as fetish wardrobe. I fully understand the fetish, I just no longer care for leather. What happened? A couple of things. First, south Florida and Europe happened. It is hot in south Florida and certain Europeans are not too fond of bathing, so when you add hot climate and/or lack of bathing to leather that has been sweated in, you get unbelievable stench. This is particularly obnoxious because it is mostly exuded by men, men have crotch odor to begin with, then they sweat into their leather pants, the crotch odor becomes noticeable from 5 feet away, the sweat dries, and the pants stink even without their owner in them. And no one ever thinks to dry-clean their leathers. They just walk around reeking to high heaven. One night at a club, my girlfriend and I had to traverse the whole dance floor to get away from a clutch of these smelly persons.
As women, we are more aware of our personal hygiene, we are cleaner about our persons to begin with, and are more likely to properly care for and launder our clothes so we can feel confident that we are not guilty of offending anyone's nostrils. Although I do have a wardrobe in leather, I do not accept wardrobe requests, so I no longer wear it. You’d be very surprised at how many latex haters think I am wearing leather in my photos! I become very amused at the look on their foolish faces when I tell them that the garment they admired is actually made of latex.
So what does the leather fetishist do? Most of the same things the latex fetishist does, except that massaging the domina through her clothes isn’t as personal and isn’t as much of a reward because leather, especially fetish leather, is so thick. And since inflatable hoods and body bags are not manufactured in leather, the leather fetishist who is into sensory deprivation will never experience the joy of these toys. If leather is your mans sole interest, beat it out of him, or beat some interest in other aspects into him. You will be bored to death, sitting there as an "object," as a thing meant to hold his favorite clothes. Isn’t that kind of entitlement exactly what we are trying to get away from, turn our backs on, leave in the dust? If you are not into leather, don’t let his desire for a leather wardrobe sway you unless he is prepared to buy you the entire thing.
